London, Dec 7 (ANI): Amanda Knox, who along with her boyfriend has been cleared by the Italian court in the killing of her British roommate, has signed a multi-million deal with a literary agent, whose client list comprise Barack Obama, Tony Blair, George W Bush, Bill Clinton and Sarah Palin.
Knox has hired Robert Barnett, a Washington-based lawyer and literary power broker who has negotiated some of the biggest deals in publishing history, for her memoirs on the Meredith Kercher murder case.
The American will probably earn at least a million dollars for a book on her conviction and subsequent acquittal for killing her British housemate.
And, with the major U.S. networks jostling for position, the 24-year-old could net as much again for a television interview on top of other earning opportunities, the Daily Mail reported.
Barnett will also be looking to maximise Knox's potential with a TV appearance.
Knox and former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito will be writing books on similar topics around the same time.
Knox's father Curt divulged that she had written so many journals in jail that an extra suitcase was needed to take them back to America.
Her spokesman confirmed that she has recruited Barnett 'to represent her in discussions with book publishers who have expressed an interest in Amanda writing a book'.
Knox served four years for murdering Miss Kercher, 21, in what prosecutors claimed was a drug-fuelled sexual assault before being cleared because of doubts over forensic evidence. (ANI)
