Amanda Knox inks multi-million deal with Blair and Obama's book agent

London, Dec 7 (ANI): Amanda Knox, who along with her boyfriend has been cleared by the Italian court in the killing of her British roommate, has signed a multi-million deal with a literary agent, whose client list comprise Barack Obama, Tony Blair, George W Bush, Bill Clinton and Sarah Palin.

Knox has hired Robert Barnett, a Washington-based lawyer and literary power broker who has negotiated some of the biggest deals in publishing history, for her memoirs on the Meredith Kercher murder case.

The American will probably earn at least a million dollars for a book on her conviction and subsequent acquittal for killing her British housemate.

And, with the major U.S. networks jostling for position, the 24-year-old could net as much again for a television interview on top of other earning opportunities, the Daily Mail reported.

Barnett will also be looking to maximise Knox's potential with a TV appearance.

Knox and former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito will be writing books on similar topics around the same time.

Knox's father Curt divulged that she had written so many journals in jail that an extra suitcase was needed to take them back to America.

Her spokesman confirmed that she has recruited Barnett 'to represent her in discussions with book publishers who have expressed an interest in Amanda writing a book'.

Knox served four years for murdering Miss Kercher, 21, in what prosecutors claimed was a drug-fuelled sexual assault before being cleared because of doubts over forensic evidence. (ANI)

Karina Smirnoff : The Many Loves of the 'DWTS' Champion

Karina Smirnoff

She may have finally won the mirrored ball, but Karina Smirnoff just can't seem to win when it comes to love. The "Dancing with the Stars" pro has reportedly called off her second engagement in two years.

There were already some rumblings that there was trouble in paradise when the "DWTS" champion and her MLB Pitcher fiance delayed their wedding earlier this year. At the time they blamed conflicts with their schedules for making it difficult to plan the grand affair. Now it seems more may have been amiss than just a few scheduling conflicts. For now the couple's reps are keeping mum on the details of the breakup, but I'm sure we'll hear all the gory details in good time.

Poor Karina just can't seem to find her off-screen happy ending. Despite her preference for risky romantic dance numbers, it seems she just can't seem to make her relationships work long enough to make it down the aisle.

Here's a look at the loves of "Dancing with the Stars" pro Karina Smirnoff:

Brad Penny: The major league pitcher had a few things on his mind this fall that didn't include planning their January 2012 wedding. Rather than spending his time focused on cakes and flowers, Brad was a bit busy making a run to the World Series with the Detroit Lions. Although they would get eliminated in the American League Championship Game, it left little time to spend with his bride (who was a bit busy dancing her way to a "DWTS" victory) to plan their big day.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy

: She almost did the unthinkable -- tame Maks! It was a match made on the dance floor when the beautiful dancer paired up with the cranky brute off-screen. It was during the off season of 2008 when the duo coupled up off the dance floor and brought their relationship into the real world. Maks took it to the next level when he asked for her hand in marriage on December 31, 2008. Their romantic bliss would only last for nine more months before they announced they had called it quits in September 2009.

Mario Lopez: They were perfectly in sync on the dance floor when the two were matched up as partners on "Dancing with the Stars". Sparks were apparent from the moment they met and the couple started dating in 2006. Their relationship lasted two years before they ended amicably in 2008.
