It has been a great week for Lil Wayne, as his new album Tha Carter IV has shattered the record for iTunes downloads. The “Mrs. Officer” rapper sold 300,000 units in the first four days of release, beating out Kanye West and Jay-Z's record of 290,000 downloads for Watch the Throne. And that’s just the beginning- Wayne’s album is near 850,000 copies sold overall, making for the biggest first-week sales numbers since his 2008 release Tha Carter III. Factor in that some of his material was unknowingly leaked onto the internet ahead of time, and it looks like nothing can keep Weezy down!Source
